Beginner's Sewing Class (Teens)

What will I gain?

You will learn the basics of sewing and how to use an overlocker machine.

By the end of the project you’ll be able to create and take home... a tote bag and a t-shirt/top!

Project Outline

• Introduction to the domestic sewing machine

• Learn to sew in straight lines, corners and curves

• Learn sewing techniques and garment assembly

• Introduction to the overlocker machine

• Create and produce your own tote bag and t-shirt/top

Dates & Times For Level 1 Lessons:

Session 1 starting : Thursdays 28 March & 4,11,18,25 April ,5pm - 7pm (2 hours)

Session 2 starting: Thursdays 2,9,16,25 & 30 May , 5pm - 7pm (2 hours)

Session3 starting: Thursdays 6,13,20,27 June & 4 July,  5pm - 7pm (2 hours)
